Brown Leather Shoulder Bag with Red Rosette Medallion Tatreez

Brown leather, built around a single red rosette stitched into the front, its petals laid out in counted symmetry around a centre. Roomy and unfussy, it settles into an easy slouch on the shoulder once it has been carried a while. One flower, one colour, and nothing else asking for attention.

It comes from Turathuna, a Palestinian leather workshop where every stitch is set by hand.

Keep it dry, and if it does get caught out, let it dry slowly and away from heat. Feed the leather once or twice a year. Never put the embroidery through a machine.
