Honey leather, with a small bouquet stitched at the front in orange and white, the stems drawn together at the base. At this size there is nowhere to hide a miscount, so every stitch is on show. Slim enough for a front pocket, with room for cards and folded notes.

It comes from Turathuna, a Palestinian leather workshop where every stitch is set by hand.

Keep it dry and wipe it with a soft cloth. A little conditioner now and then keeps the leather supple. The embroidery wants a gentle hand, never a machine.
